Here are the message notes that were included in the worship guide in service March 9 for Part 1 of our “Breathe” series entitled Learning to Breathe. Please feel free to use these notes as you follow along listening to the message.

Ps. 23:1-3 (Message)- God, my Shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows; you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.


God is there to encourage us, help us, stabilize us, get us back on track and help us finish…all because He wants the ______ for us.


John 10:27-My Sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me.


When we turn hear the Shepherds voice and turn to respond, there is _______ in it. There is a benefit.


Blessing is the result of obedience that is born out of a relationship of love.


Three (3) Kinds of Obedience:

1) Guided Obedience

2) ________ Obedience

3) Heart Obedience


Isaiah 1:19-if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.


If we’re not experiencing His blessing or we start to feel stale in our relationship, it comes back to two (2) things:

  1. How closely am I ________ to what He says?
  2. How willingly am I doing what He says?


Matt 11:28-29 (Message)- Are you tired? Worn Out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me—watch how I do it.
